Desert Pets is proud to announce our SPRING 2016 AUTHORS!!


MICHELLE BROWN is a writer from Vancouver Island, currently living in Toronto and working as a copywriter. She's had work published in The Puritan, Prism, CV2, Arc, and The Malahat Review, amongst others. Recently shortlisted for CV2's Young Buck poetry prize and longlisted for the CBC poetry prize, she's excitedly awaiting her first chapbook (with Desert Pets Press) in May, and her first full-length collection (with Palimpsest Press) in 2018.

BROOKE LOCKYER's short stories, articles, and reviews have been published in The Hart House Review, Geist.com, Flare, House & Home, and Globe Style Advisor. She holds an MA in the Field of Creative Writing from the University of Toronto and splits her time between downtown Toronto and a trailer parked on the edge of the Mojave desert.
